The laws in Sweden say the following:
For a driver's license from a state outside the EEA to be valid in Sweden, it must be valid in the country where it was issued and must not have been exchanged for a Swedish driver's license. You also must not have been registered in Sweden for more than one year, with the exception of driving licenses from Great Britain or the Faroe Islands. If you have a driving license from Great Britain or the Faroe Islands, you can use it in Sweden, even if you have been registered in the country for more than a year.
